About the Role

CAMM Quarries is seeking an experienced Crushing / Plant Operator to join our team in Townsville. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating a range of mobile plant and crushing equipment to support our quarry operations. We're looking for someone who is reliable, safety-focused and hands-on, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate front-end loaders, excavators and other mobile plant equipment.
- Assist with the operation and monitoring of mobile crushing equipment.
- Support daily quarry operations to ensure safe and effective production.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve operational targets.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years' experience working in a quarry environment.
- Proven experience operating front-end loaders and excavators in a crushing environment.
- Experience with mobile crushing equipment.
- Relevant RII machinery and crushing competencies/certifications.
- Current General Construction Induction Card (White Card).




- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Willingness to work at local and regional sites as required.
