About the Opportunities

EZI Recruitment is currently seeking experienced and highly organised Customer Service Transport Representatives for two established transport companies, with one position based in Altona, VIC, and the other in Mulgrave, VIC.

These are excellent opportunities for candidates with a strong background in transport customer service, fleet control and dispatch who are confident coordinating daily transport operations while delivering exceptional customer service.

Working closely with drivers, customers, warehouse teams and operations staff, you will play a key role in ensuring freight movements run smoothly, deliveries are coordinated efficiently and customers receive timely updates.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage customer enquiries, bookings and transport requests via phone and email.

- Coordinate daily fleet movements, driver allocations and dispatch operations.

- Liaise with drivers to ensure timely deliveries and collections.

- Prepare, process and maintain consignment notes (Con Notes), manifests and transport documentation.

- Monitor vehicle schedules and proactively manage delays or operational issues.

- Provide customers with regular updates regarding freight status and delivery timeframes.

- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure efficient service delivery.

- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures and transport requirements.





- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and problem-solving.

- Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced transport workplace while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Minimum Requirements

- Minimum 3 years' experience in customer service within the transport, logistics or freight industry, with 5 years highly regarded.

- Previous experience in fleet control, transport dispatch or coordinating daily fleet operations.

- Strong understanding of consignment notes, manifests, transport documentation and freight procedures.

- Knowledge of transport scheduling, route coordination, deliveries and collections.

- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transport management systems.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Experience with Sap, Carten Cloud, CMS systems.
