West Perth Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is seeking a passionate and dedicated Dental Nurse to join the team and upskill to specialist level.

Tasks & responsibilities

- Opportunity to assist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Dr Ken Wan in operating theatres at Kings Park Day Hospital and other private hospitals

- Prepare surgical and procedural trolleys

- Order prosthetics required for each theatre list

- Apply your problem-solving skills from your previous clinical/academic experience to improve patient flow

- Utilise your tactical communication skills to relate to liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to enhance patient care

Your Skills, Experience and Qualification:

- Minimum certificate III in Dental Assisting

- At least 12 month's experience in Dentistry

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships

- Empathetic and kind nature

- Energetic, motivated, a quick learner, punctual and fits in our culture

- Exemplary time management and organisational skills

- Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Exposure to dental radiology

- Experience scrubbing and surgically assisting in operating theatre

- Experience with Genie Patient Management Program preferred
