We are seeking experienced full-time, Diploma or ECT Qualified Room Leaders for our brand-new purpose-built Early Learning Centre in Kings Meadows, set to open in May 2026.

This rare opportunity offers the chance to be involved from day one, setting the tone, shaping the culture, and building a high-performing, values-driven team in your room. Working alongside the Director and Assistant Director, you will play a key leadership role in creating a safe, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment where children, families, and all team members feel supported and inspired to thrive.

Lead your team in developing a child-centred, play-based curriculum, cultivating strong family partnerships, and mentoring staff to deliver high-quality early learning.

As a room leader, you will:

- Develop a highly cooperative relationship with all staff members to ensure a consistently caring and smoothly operating service.
- Model and encourage educators to develop and maintain respectful and equitable relationships with each child.




- Provide leadership and positive support for educators and model appropriate skills for other service staff and students.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care or Early Childhood Teaching Degree.
- Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration – or willingness to obtain.
- Regular availability and flexibility to work a range of shifts during our opening hours.
