Pups4Fun is looking for a Dog Groomer to join our team at Fisher and/or Belconnen. You’ll help dogs look and feel their best, build relationships with their people, and work alongside colleagues who share your commitment to quality care.

Whether you love a beautiful breed clip, a satisfying deshed or helping a nervous dog become more comfortable with grooming, there’s plenty of variety in this role.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll deliver grooming services that meet each dog’s needs and their owner’s expectations, including:

- Full grooms, breed-specific styling,



hygiene clips and tidy-ups.
- Bathing, drying, brushing, deshedding and nail clipping.
- Handling dogs safely and recognising signs of stress, discomfort or health concerns.
- Talking with clients about their preferences and offering practical coat-care advice.
- Keeping accurate grooming notes and maintaining clean, protected equipment and workspaces.
- Working with the Grooming Team Leader and salon team to keep appointments running smoothly.

About you

You care about the quality of your finish and the experience each dog has along the way. You’re reliable, communicate clearly and are happy to lend a hand when your teammates need support. We’re keen to hear about your grooming experience, the services you’re confident delivering and the skills you’d like to develop further.

You’ll also bring

- A calm, patient approach to working with dogs of different sizes and temperaments.
- Good organisation and time management, balancing efficiency with quality and safe handling.
- A willingness to learn, take feedback and follow salon procedures.
- The physical ability to manage the demands of grooming safely.
- A current Working with Vulnerable People card, as required for the role.

Relevant animal care qualifications, first aid or pet first aid training are welcome.
