Full time Duty Manager

Bring the energy. Lead the team. Keep the good times running.

We’re looking for a hands-on leader who enjoys a busy venue, looks after their team and knows that great hospitality is all in the details.

From Christmas functions to bustling weekend services, you’ll help deliver memorable experiences across our restaurant, bistro, bar and function spaces.

Your role will include:

- Leading shifts and keeping the team supported through busy services
- Welcoming guests and handling enquiries and feedback with confidence and care
- Overseeing opening, closing, cash handling and venue presentation
- Maintaining responsible service, safety and compliance standards
- Working closely with the management team to keep things running smoothly

You’ll bring:

- Previous hospitality leadership or supervisory experience
- Clear communication and a calm, practical approach when things get busy
- A positive attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves
- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
- A Responsible Person badge would be highly regarded




- Availability across early mornings, late nights, weekends and public holidays

Barista

Great coffee. Friendly faces. A strong start to someone’s day.

Know your way around a coffee machine and love a little customer banter? We’re looking for a barista who takes their coffee seriously and brings warmth to every interaction.

Your role will include:

- Preparing consistently delicious coffee and other beverages
- Welcoming guests, taking orders and processing payments
- Keeping your coffee station clean, organised and stocked for the next rush
- Cleaning and caring for coffee equipment
- Lending a hand to the wider food and beverage team

You’ll bring:

- Previous barista experience and confidence using a commercial coffee machine
- An eye for quality, consistency and presentation
- The ability to keep the coffees flowing during busy periods
- A friendly personality and a love of looking after people
- Availability across early mornings, weekends and public holidays

Casual Maintenance / Boots

An early start. A hands-on role. A venue you can take pride in.

While North Adelaide is still hitting snooze, you’ll be helping get The Lion ready for another big day.

This role suits someone reliable and practical who enjoys working independently and seeing the difference their work makes. Shifts start at 5:30 am.





Your role will include:

- Completing morning cleaning and preparing the venue for opening
- Keeping indoor and outdoor areas clean, tidy and welcoming
- Assisting with general upkeep and minor maintenance within your skills
- Managing rubbish and recycling
- Setting up furniture and reporting maintenance issues

You’ll bring:

- Reliability, punctuality and availability for 5:30 am starts
- A practical approach and strong attention to detail
- Initiative and confidence working independently
- Comfort with physical, hands-on tasks
- Availability across the week, including weekends and public holidays
- Cleaning or maintenance experience would be an advantage
