Role Description This is a full-time, in office Expedition Cruise Reservations Consultant role based in Sydney, NSW. The consultant will handle inbound and outbound reservation enquiries, provide detailed information about expedition cruise itineraries, cabins, pricing, and availability, and process bookings accurately in reservations systems. Day-to-day tasks include managing customer communications via phone and email, responding to travel agent and direct guest queries, and delivering high-quality pre- and post-booking support.

The role involves promoting suitable cruise options, managing changes and cancellations, and coordinating with sales and operations teams to ensure a seamless guest experience. The consultant will also maintain up-to-date product knowledge,



follow company policies and procedures, and contribute to meeting sales and service targets.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated reservations experience, ideally within travel. Expedition cruising experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Strong customer service skills focused on responsiveness, problem-solving, and guest satisfaction.
- Effective communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and active listening.
- Sales skills with the ability to identify customer needs, recommend suitable cruise products, and close bookings.
- Knowledge or strong interest in cruises, expedition travel, and global destinations.
- Proficiency with reservation or CRM systems, and confident use of standard office software.
- Ability to work on-site in Sydney, NSW along with legal working rights to remain in Australia
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and time management skills.
- Relevant vocational training or qualifications in travel, tourism, or hospitality are an advantage.
