Role Description This is a full-time, in office Female Support Worker role based in Fremantle, WA.

The Support

Worker will assist participants with daily living activities, personal care, and community engagement, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity at all times. Duties include providing emotional and social support, facilitating participation in community programs, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting individual care plans. The role involves working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and other professionals to promote independence and inclusion for each participant,



while adhering to all safeguarding and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess experience as support workers, including direct care, community support, or disability support roles.
- Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities to build trust, listen actively, and interact effectively with participants and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of safeguarding practices and a commitment to maintaining participant safety, privacy, and wellbeing.
- Candidates should possess basic technical support skills, including the ability to use digital tools, record notes, and follow electronic care systems.
- Relevant qualifications in disability support, social care, community services, or a related field are desirable.
- Ability to work shifts, maintain professional boundaries, and follow organizational policies and procedures.
- Current first aid/CPR certification, valid Working With Children Check/National Police Check, and appropriate work rights in Australia are beneficial.
