Finance Business Partner - Property Development Our client is an international business is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support its Australian property development projects. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will work closely with development leaders, project managers and joint venture partners, providing financial oversight from early planning through construction and completion. The opportunity Combining hands-on accounting with commercial business partnering your responsibilities will include:

- Managing project budgets, cash flow forecasts and cost-to-complete reporting.
- Tracking expenditure, commitments and milestones, identifying potential overruns and funding requirements early.
- Partnering with project managers to challenge assumptions and support commercial decisions.
- Coordinating debt and equity drawdowns, funding requests and joint venture reporting.
- Owning accounting and month-end reporting for development SPVs.
- Assessing accounting treatment for development expenditure, including capitalisation.
- Supporting tax compliance, financial controls and reporting to overseas stakeholders. About you You will bring experience in property development accounting or finance, with a practical understanding of project costs, cash flows and the development lifecycle. You could be an experienced Development Accountant seeking broader commercial ownership, or a Finance Manager who enjoys remaining close to the detail.

Experience within a smaller developer is equally relevant.

You will ideally offer

- CA or CPA qualifications.
- Strong accounting fundamentals and experience managing development budgets and forecasts.
- Exposure to SPVs, joint ventures and project funding arrangements.




- Confidence engaging with non-finance stakeholders and explaining financial risks clearly.
