Clarity Partners is seeking a Financial Accountant to join an Australian gold mining business, with operations and development projects across Western Australia. /n About the Role /n This is an opportunity to join a energetic resources business at an exciting stage of its growth, contributing to the financial integrity and reporting that support its ongoing operations. /n This role presents an excellent opportunity for a first mover looking to make the transition from professional services into industry. Based in a Perth corporate office, you will work closely with the finance team to deliver accurate financial information, maintain strong accounting processes and support the broader business. /n Key Responsibilities /n /n

- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, journals and balance sheet reconciliations.

/n

- Support monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting and close processes.

/n

- Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements and management reports.

/n

- Monitor financial transactions to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with accounting standards.

/n

- Support statutory reporting, audit requirements and relevant tax compliance activities.

/n

- Investigate discrepancies and financial variances, providing clear and accurate information to stakeholders.

/n

- Contribute to the improvement of financial processes,



reporting systems and internal controls.

/n

- Provide general accounting support to the wider finance team as required.

/n /n About You /n /n

- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.

/n

- CA or CPA qualified, or working towards completion.

/n

- Demonstrated experience in financial accounting, including month-end processes, reconciliations and financial reporting.

/n

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls and reporting requirements.

/n

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using financial or ERP systems.

/n

- Excellent analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

/n

- Well-developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet competing deadlines.

/n

- A proactive and collaborative approach, with the confidence to work with stakeholders across the business.
