Live Services Group is a leading provider of Electrical, HVAC, Solar and Plumbing services across Queensland. We support a high-volume operation across multiple divisions, delivering responsive, high-quality outcomes to both commercial and insurance clients. We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and motivated General Labourer / Storage Man to support our day-to-day operations, including general shed duties, stock handling, fleet management and transporting materials and equipment between our offices.

The Role

This is a hands-on, varied position suited to someone who enjoys practical work, staying organised and working independently. You will be responsible for maintaining our shed and storage areas, assisting with stock deliveries, supporting the upkeep of our company vehicle fleet and travelling between our Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Gold Coast offices as required.

The successful applicant will play an significant role in keeping our facilities, vehicles and operational teams running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

General Shed & Yard Duties

- Maintain clean, safe and organised shed, warehouse and storage areas.
- Assist with general labouring, cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Organise tools, equipment, materials and storage areas.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries and company vehicles.
- Ensure equipment and materials are stored correctly and safely.
- Assist with general office and facility maintenance as required.

Stock Receiving & Handling

- Receive, unload and check incoming stock and supplier deliveries.
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery dockets.
- Report missing, damaged or incorrect stock to the relevant team.




- Assist with sorting, labelling and storing materials and equipment.
- Prepare materials and equipment for collection or delivery to trades and other branches.
- Assist with stocktakes and maintaining accurate stock records.

Vehicle Fleet Management

- Assist with the day-to-day management and upkeep of company vehicles.
- Monitor vehicle cleanliness, general condition and presentation.
- Coordinate vehicle servicing, maintenance, repairs and inspections as directed.
- Assist with tracking vehicle registrations, servicing schedules and maintenance requirements.
- Report vehicle damage, defects or maintenance concerns to management.
- Coordinate vehicle drop-offs, collections and transfers between branches.
- Ensure company vehicles are maintained in a clean, protected and presentable condition.

Travel & General Operational Support

- Travel between our Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Gold Coast offices as required.
- Transport stock, tools, equipment and documents between branches (when necessary).
- Assist with relocating materials and equipment between offices and storage facilities.
- Support project managers, tradespeople and administration teams with general operational requirements.
- Complete other reasonable general labouring and support duties as directed by management.

About You





We are looking for someone who is dependable, proactive and willing to assist wherever needed. The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in general labouring, warehouse, yard or maintenance work (preferred).
- A current, valid Australian driver's licence (essential).
- A good driving record and confidence travelling between locations.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to safely undertake manual handling tasks.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- A practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn.
- The ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and servicing requirements (advantageous).
- A forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
