About the role

Working alongside our workshop and project teams, you will help ensure our yard, workshop, materials, and equipment are maintained in a safe, clean, and organised condition. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, keeping things organised, and supporting a busy engineering and fabrication workshop.

Key responsibilities

- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised yard and workshop

- Loading and unloading deliveries, materials, tools, and equipment

- Receiving, checking, and storing incoming materials

- Moving and organising steel, stainless steel, pipework, and other materials

- Preparing materials, tools, and equipment for workshop and site jobs

- Assisting tradespeople with general workshop duties when required

- Sorting and disposing of scrap metal, packaging, and general waste appropriately

- Carrying out basic cleaning, housekeeping, and yard maintenance

- Assisting with stock organisation and material handling

- Following workplace health and safety procedures and maintaining safe work areas.
