About the role

You'll work across a range of commercial and facilities maintenance sites, tackling everything from carpentry and building repairs to doors, locks, cabinetry, patching, installations and general maintenance. You'll be out in the field representing Servus Group and providing high-quality maintenance services to clients. This isn't a role where you'll be stuck doing the same thing every day.

Key responsibilities

- Reactive and programmed maintenance
- General carpentry and building repairs
- Door, hinge, lock and hardware repairs
- Cabinetry, shelving and skirting repairs and installation
- Minor patching and general make-good works
- Fault finding and identifying practical repair solutions
- Providing recommendations and information for additional works where required
- Completing transparent job notes, photos and site documentation
- Communicating directly with clients and site representatives
- Taking ownership of your jobs from attendance through to completion

About you

- Carpentry qualifications and/or strong demonstrated trade experience
- Experience in general, commercial or facilities maintenance
- Broad hands-on skills across repairs and maintenance
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding ability




- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good time management and the ability to work independently
- High attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to help the wider team
- A strong commitment to safety, quality and customer service
- White Card
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to obtain a Federal Police Check and Working with Children Check where required
