We're looking for a motivated and creative Graduate Architect or Building Designer to join our team at North Plympton. You'll have the opportunity to work on genuinely unique residential projects, learn directly from an experienced architect and develop your skills across the entire design and documentation process.

Please note: This is a full-time, office-based position at our North Plympton office. Applicants must currently be based in Adelaide and available to work in person with our team. This is a direct employment position, not a remote role or an engagement for external design consultancies or outsourced drafting services.

About the Role

Working alongside our experienced architect and broader team, you'll be involved in the design and documentation of a diverse range of custom homes and renovations.

You'll gain practical experience across all stages of residential design, developing your technical knowledge and understanding of how great design translates into quality construction.

Your responsibilities will include

- Assisting with the development of architectural concepts and design solutions for bespoke residential projects.

- Helping translate client briefs, lifestyle requirements and design ideas into functional, well-considered homes.

- Developing architectural plans, elevations, sections,



details and working drawings using Revit.

- Working alongside our experienced architect to develop your design, documentation and technical skills.

- Learning how to balance design intent with planning requirements, construction methods, buildability and project budgets.

- Assisting with planning and development approval documentation and consultant coordination.

- Working with engineers, certifiers, interior designers and other project consultants.

- Collaborating with our estimating and construction teams to ensure designs are practical, accurately documented and ready to build.

- Progressively taking on greater responsibility as your experience and confidence develop.

About You

We're interested in your potential, attitude and enthusiasm just as much as your experience.

You might be a recent Architecture graduate looking for your first industry role, an emerging Building Designer ready to take the next step, or an experienced designer seeking a current challenge in bespoke residential work.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- A degree in Architecture or a relevant qualification in Building Design.

- A genuine interest in residential architecture, particularly custom homes and renovations.

- An eagerness to learn, develop your skills and take on new challenges.

- An eye for detail and an appreciation for thoughtful, functional design.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.

- A willingness to learn the technical and practical side of residential construction.





- Strong computer skills and an interest in developing your Revit capability.

Experience with Revit is an advantage, but we're open to graduates with a strong foundation in architectural design and a willingness to learn.
