Housekeeping Supervisors – Sydney CBD | 5-Star Hotel

Join the housekeeping team at a prestigious 5-star hotel in the heart of Sydney CBD, just a short walk from Town Hall Station. IHS is seeking experienced, motivated and detail-focused Housekeeping Supervisors to join our team within a premium 5-star hotel workplace.

This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong focus on room inspections, quality assurance and supporting Room Attendants to consistently deliver exceptional presentation standards.

Working in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment, you will help ensure every guest room and designated area is presented to the high standard expected of a 5-star property. You’ll provide guidance and constructive feedback to the team, identify opportunities for improvement and work closely with housekeeping management to deliver a consistently exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct detailed inspections of guest rooms to ensure exceptional cleanliness, presentation and 5-star quality standards are achieved.
- Ensure rooms are guest-ready and consistently meet hotel and brand expectations.
- Provide clear, constructive and supportive feedback to Room Attendants.
- Coach and guide team members to strengthen cleaning quality, presentation and attention to detail.
- Monitor housekeeping standards throughout shifts and promptly address quality concerns.
- Identify and report maintenance issues, damaged items and presentation concerns.
- Ensure housekeeping procedures, safe work practices and WHS requirements are consistently followed.
- Assist with the smooth day-to-day operation of the housekeeping team and changing operational priorities.




- Work collaboratively with housekeeping management and hotel teams to maintain exceptional service and presentation standards.
- Lead by example, promoting professionalism, teamwork and pride in delivering a premium guest experience.

Key Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor, Senior Room Attendant or similar role, ideally within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.
- Strong experience conducting room inspections and maintaining high-quality housekeeping standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and an understanding of the presentation standards required in luxury hospitality.
- Confident leadership and communication skills, with the ability to provide constructive and respectful feedback.
- A supportive, hands-on approach to leading and developing team members.
- Strong organisation and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritise and work efficiently in a busy hotel environment while maintaining quality.
- Sound knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals and secure work practices.
- Professional presentation and a strong commitment to guest service.
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
- Valid working rights in Australia.
