Blower Truck Operator – HC Licence (Hands-On / Variety)

Location:

Based in Buckland Park (Servicing Metro Adelaide & Regional SA)

Job Type:

Full-time

About Us:

We have had our hands in South Australian soil for generations, growing strong since 1842. Driven by wholesome family values and innovation, we have developed world-leading organic recycling technologies. Combining our passion and process, our Blower Truck division delivers and installs premium mulches, specialized soils, and playground chips directly to major commercial projects, local councils, and school playgrounds across the state.

About the Role:

This isn't your typical, boring "dock-to-dock" truck driving job. As a PowerScaper Blower Truck Operator, you are running a specialized piece of mobile plant. You will drive our Blower trucks to various sites, but the real work begins when you arrive.

You’ll be managing the precision installation of bulk materials using advanced pneumatic blowing systems. It’s a energetic, active role where you are out of the cab, interacting with clients, managing the equipment, and seeing a tangible result at the end of every day.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate and navigate a HR or HC vehicle to commercial sites, schools, and council parklands across Metro Adelaide and beyond.

- Set up,

operate, and pack up remote-controlled pneumatic blower systems and hoses.

- Monitor product flow, depths, and application rates to ensure high-quality presentation (e.g., playground soft-fall, commercial embankments).

- Act as the face of the company on-site, working professionally with civil contractors, project managers, and council representatives.

- Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance on both the truck and the blower equipment.

About You:

You are an active person who enjoys being out in the elements and doesn't want to sit in a driver's seat for 8 hours straight. You take pride in your work, enjoy problem-solving on-site, and have a strong commitment to workplace safety.

What you need:

- A current, valid (HR) or (HC) truck licence.

- A solid level of physical fitness—this is a hands-on role involving handling hoses and working actively on-site.

- Great communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

- Adaptability to handle early starts and varying site conditions.

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.

- A White Card (Construction Induction) is highly advantageous.
