/n /n We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused HVAC Counter Sales Associate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping customers find the right solutions for their HVAC needs. /n Position Summary /n The HVAC Counter Sales Associate serves as the face of our branch by providing exceptional customer service and technical product support to HVAC contractors, technicians, and walk-in customers. This position is responsible for assisting customers with product selection, processing orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting branch operations. /n The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys building customer relationships, solving problems, and delivering an outstanding customer experience. /n Key Responsibilities /n Customer Service & Sales /n /n

- Greet customers promptly and provide exceptional service at the sales counter.

/n

- Assist customers with product selection, pricing, availability, and technical information.

/n

- Process sales orders, quotes, returns, and exchanges accurately.

/n





- Build strong relationships with contractors and service technicians to promote repeat business.

/n

- Recommend additional products and solutions that meet customer needs.

/n

- Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.

/n /n Order Management /n /n

- Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.

/n

- Coordinate special orders and communicate delivery timelines.

/n

- Follow up on open orders and keep customers informed of order status.

/n

- Assist with warranty claims and product returns when necessary.

/n /n Inventory & Warehouse Support /n /n

- Pull and stage customer orders for pickup.

/n

- Receive, stock, and organize inventory.

/n

- Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives.

/n

- Maintain showroom displays and product merchandising.

/n

- Ensure products are properly labeled and stocked.

/n /n Branch Operations /n /n

- Support branch goals by promoting teamwork and operational excellence.

/n

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

/n

- Attend training sessions and stay current on HVAC products, technologies, and industry trends.

/n

- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

/n

- Perform other duties as assigned.





/n /n Qualifications /n /n /n

- High school diploma or equivalent.

/n

- Strong customer service and communication skills.

/n

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

/n

- Basic computer skills and experience with point-of-sale or order-entry systems.

/n

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

/n /n Preferred /n /n

- HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, or wholesale distribution experience.

/n

- HVAC/R product knowledge.

/n

- Counter sales, inside sales, or customer service experience.

/n

- Forklift experience or willingness to become certified.
