We’re on the lookout for an exceptional Senior Store Manager to lead our Hype DC store in Rundle Mall, Adelaide.

This is an exciting opportunity for an established retail leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and knows what it takes to build high-performing teams, deliver outstanding commercial results and create unforgettable customer experiences.

As a key leader within our business, you’ll take ownership of store performance, inspire a passionate team of brand ambassadors and bring the Hype DC brand vision to life. What you’ll do

- Lead a high-performing business: Drive sales, KPIs and profitability across a multimillion-dollar retail operation, identifying opportunities to maximise performance and achieve results.

- Build an exceptional team: Create a people-first, high-performance culture where team members feel empowered, supported and motivated to succeed.

- Lead from the front: Be visible and hands-on on the shop floor, setting the standard for premium customer service and delivering an elevated in-store experience.

- Develop future leaders: Coach, mentor and develop your leadership team and store team, building capability, accountability and a strong internal talent pipeline.

- Own the talent strategy: Drive recruitment, onboarding, succession planning and ongoing talent development to ensure the right people are in the right roles.





- Deliver the brand experience: Champion Hype DC’s brand identity through best-in-class visual merchandising, product presentation and sneaker culture.

- Drive operational excellence: Effectively manage rosters, labour budgets, stock and store operations while maintaining strong commercial and compliance standards.

- Create a seamless customer journey: Deliver an exceptional omnichannel experience that connects customers with the brand across every touchpoint.

- Champion an inclusive culture: Foster a fun, collaborative and safe environment where diversity is celebrated and everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

What we’re looking for

- 3–5+ years of retail leadership experience, ideally in premium, high-volume or fast-paced retail environments.

- A proven track record of driving sales, KPIs and commercial performance.

- Experience leading large teams and developing leaders in a high-volume retail business.

- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to analyse performance, identify opportunities and turn insights into action.

- Exceptional coaching, communication and people leadership skills.

- Confidence managing labour budgets, rostering, operational costs and store compliance.

- A genuine passion for sneakers, streetwear, fashion and premium customer experiences.

- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a strong “Make It Happen” attitude.

- A commitment to continuous improvement and developing yourself and those around you.
