n We’re looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to help design, build and operate secure, scalable software that supports high-quality financial services.n
n
n This is a hands-on senior engineering role where you’ll work across full-stack development, cloud engineering, DevOps and operational excellence, while providing technical leadership and mentoring to other engineers.n
n
n You’ll work with up-to-date .NET, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript and AWS technologies,



and have the opportunity to use approved AI-assisted engineering tools and contribute to AI and LLM-enabled solutions where they can deliver measurable value.n

What you’ll be doing

n
n

n
- Design, develop and maintain secure, scalable and maintainable full-stack applications, services, APIs and databases.
n
- Apply strong engineering principles, including SOLID principles, design patterns, secure coding and automated testing.
n
- Design and operate AWS cloud solutions with a focus on reliability, scalability, observability, security and cost efficiency.
n
- Use infrastructure as code and CI/CD to automate secure and repeatable software delivery.
n
- Support production environments, including incident response, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and operational improvements.
n
- Use approved AI coding and engineering tools responsibly to improve productivity and contribute to AI-enabled solutions.
n
- Drive engineering quality through automated testing, peer reviews, documentation, observability and continuous improvement.
n
- Identify and manage technical debt while maintaining agreed architecture and engineering standards.
n
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentor engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
n
- Champion Agile delivery, continuous feedback and modern engineering practices.
n
- Partner with Product, Architecture, QA, DevOps, Security, Application Support and business stakeholders to deliver strong customer outcomes.
n




- Build effective stakeholder relationships while balancing customer needs, risk, quality and delivery priorities.

What you bring

You don’t need to tick every box, but experience in the below will set you up for success.

Experience & Skills

n
n

n
- 5+ years’ software engineering experience, with senior-level technical responsibility.
n
- Strong C# and .NET skills, including ASP.NET Core, Web API, SQL and relational databases.
n
- Full-stack experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Vue.js or React.
n
- Hands-on experience designing and operating secure, scalable solutions in AWS.
n
- Strong DevOps capability, including Git, automated testing, CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
n
- Experience with modern engineering practices, including secure coding, design patterns and Agile delivery.
n
- Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
n
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools responsibly, with an understanding of security, privacy and governance.
n
- Exposure to LLMs, RAG, Python, Amazon Bedrock/SageMaker, Docker or Kubernetes is advantageous.
n
- Financial services or other regulated-industry experience is desirable.
