We are a large scale Commercial Plumbing and Fire Protection business situated in a contemporary Architectural Award-winning Office in Welshpool fitted with modern equipment. We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant who wants more from their first few years in accounting than simply processing transactions.

Working directly under our Director / Chief Financial Officer, you will gain hands-on exposure across accounting, finance, business systems and operational processes. The formal position is structured as a junior-level role with appropriate supervision and review.

Alongside developing your accounting skills, we want to help you build practical knowledge in IT, business systems, process automation, data and AI. The position description specifically includes development in software systems,



process improvement, software development, data analytics, reporting tools and business intelligence.

Accounting & Finance

- Bank, creditor, debtor and general ledger reconciliations

- Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting

- Cashflow reporting and forecasting

- Assist with management accounts, budgets and variance analysis

- Assist with BAS, IAS and other compliance requirements

- Fixed assets and insurance administration

Technology, Systems & Automation

- Learn how our accounting and operational systems work together

- Assist with testing and implementing business software

- Help identify repetitive finance and administration processes that could be automated

- Develop skills in data analytics, reporting and business intelligence

- Assist with reports, dashboards and supervised automated solutions

- Gain exposure to software development and system improvement activities

- Provide basic first-level IT support and assist with company devices and user accounts
