About Niagara Therapy

Niagara Therapy is a proud, long-standing family business that has been providing health and mobility solutions for people with age-related health concerns for more than 50 years.

We design and manufacture high-quality therapy furniture and equipment from our purpose-built head office and manufacturing facility in Parkinson. We’re committed to quality, safety, service excellence and continuous improvement, and we value people who take pride in what they do.

The role

Niagara is seeking a motivated and commercially minded Junior Finance Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Chief Finance and Operating Officer.

You’ll own the numbers that show how the business is really performing, from what it costs us to make each product to the return on where we invest. Working alongside our leadership and operations teams, you’ll turn that information into decisions.

This is a hands-on role combining financial management, cost and performance analysis, and people leadership, with the opportunity to develop towards a future senior finance leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting and control

- Oversee Group accounting, month-end close and financial controls.

- Prepare monthly management reports that explain results against budget and prior periods, not just present them.

Costing, margins and performance

- Maintain and review product costing and standard costs across our manufactured range.

- Analyse margins by product, customer and channel, and support pricing decisions.

- Monitor production costs, inventory levels and stock valuation, and pinpoint where savings can be made.

- Build and refine KPI reporting so managers can see,

and act on, the measures that matter in their area.

Planning and investment

- Coordinate the annual budget and rolling forecasts with department managers.

- Assess capital expenditure proposals, including new plant, equipment and product development.

- Model scenarios to help leadership weigh up growth, pricing and cost decisions.

People and process

- Lead and develop the Accounts Supervisor and broader finance team across AP, AR, payroll, commissions and order entry.

- Improve finance processes and systems to make reporting faster, simpler and more reliable.

About You

- CPA qualified or currently working towards CPA.

- Hands-on management accounting experience, including budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.

- Advanced Excel skills and confidence extracting and working with ERP data.

- Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills, including the ability to explain financial results to non-finance managers.

- Demonstrated leadership capability.

- A proactive, hands-on approach with a desire to grow.

Experience in manufacturing or cost accounting will be well regarded.

Why Join Niagara?

- Numbers you can see and touch: your analysis covers products we design and make in-house, from raw materials through to the finished item.

- A clear path upward: this role is designed as a stepping stone to a senior finance leadership position.

- Your work drives decisions: in a family business, good analysis goes straight to the people who make the call.

- Stability with heritage: more than 50 years of building a trusted name in health and mobility.

If you are excited about this chance, apply now!
