The Senior Electrical & Instrument Designer is responsible for producing and reviewing complex drawings and 3D models, maintaining design standards, and coordinating with clients, suppliers, and engineers. Supports site surveys, estimates, and manages drafting tasks with a high level of technical autonomy.

Key Skills

- Minimum 10+ years of experience in electrical and instrumentation design
- Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology – Electrical (UEE62122) or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of industry codes and standards (AS/NZS, IEC etc.)
- Demonstrated experience in the oil & gas, mining, or heavy industrial sectors
- Understanding of control systems such as PLCs, DCS, and SCADA
- Familiarity with safety systems (SIS)
- Experience in working within multi-discipline project teams
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to design accuracy
- Competence in producing design deliverables under tight project schedules
