About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Life (Risk) Insurance Broker to join our growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated insurance professional who enjoys building genuine client relationships and wants to take ownership of the end-to-end advice and broking process.

You will work closely with clients to understand their personal and financial circumstances, identify their insurance needs and provide tailored risk insurance solutions. You will manage the process from initial client conversations and needs analysis through to recommendations, applications, underwriting and ongoing reviews.

You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our accounting, wealth and lending teams to identify opportunities where insurance advice can add genuine value for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end life and risk insurance broking process
- Meet with clients to understand their personal, financial and business circumstances
- Identify and assess client insurance needs and risk exposures
- Research and compare suitable insurance products and providers
- Prepare and present tailored insurance recommendations




- Manage applications and liaise with insurers and underwriters throughout the underwriting process
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers and professional referral partners
- Conduct regular client reviews and identify changes in insurance needs
- Ensure all client records, documentation and compliance requirements are maintained accurately
- Work collaboratively with the broader JD Group to provide a seamless client experience
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of JD Insurance

About You We are looking for someone who is:

- Experienced in life and risk insurance broking or financial advice
- Confident dealing directly with clients and building long-term relationships
- Commercially minded with a strong understanding of the life insurance market
- Able to clearly explain complex insurance concepts in a simple and relatable way
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive and able to manage your own client portfolio and workload
- Comfortable working collaboratively with a broader professional services team
- Committed to providing quality advice and an exceptional client experience
- Motivated to grow and develop within a growing insurance business
