About the role

ACPL Rollers and Parts Pty Ltd is seeking a Factory Hand/ Machine Operator to assist with polyurethane parts & roller manufacturing based in Bayswater, Victoria.

The role is primarily to work in production, including mixing products, operating machinery, machining rollers operating lathes and grinders, assisting with the packing and light cleaning.

Key responsibilities

- Work in production including mixing products

- Operate machinery

- Machining rollers, operating lathes and grinders

- Assist with packing

- Perform light cleaning

- Be available for a spread of hours between 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday (actual shifts are approximately 8 hours)

- Maintain personal hygiene when working around chemicals

About you





- Physically fit to perform all duties including standing for long periods of time and performing repetitive tasks

- Accuracy with attention to detail

- Punctuality and reliable attendance

- Good level of communication skills

- Good mechanical knowledge will be an advantage

- Ability to operate a manual lathe

- Basic computer skills

- Parts assembly experience will be looked on favourably

- Be able to work independently and as part of a team

- Must have own transport
