ContinueCARE Hospital at Baptist Health Paducah are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a hospital setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in accordance with established policies, procedures, and scope of practice.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician

· Perform patient assessments and document observations and interventions accurately

· Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

· Monitor patient responses to treatments and report any changes to the RN or physician

· Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers

· Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care

· Provide patient and family education and emotional support





· Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)

· Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times

Qualifications:

· Current, active LPN license in the State of Position

· Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital experience required

· Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)

· Solid clinical skills and sound judgment

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
