About the role

Afternoon/Sleepover shifts will be available. Participant support requirements will include, full assistance with personal care, medication management, following an epilepsy management plan, following a mealtime management plan, communication assistance, transportation, community access, facilitating fun activities such as swimming, activities of daily living and independent living skills.

About you

You are a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individual with a genuine passion to make a difference to the lives of people living with a disability. As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:

- A strong understanding of the NDIS and participant support requirements
- Experience and/or training in seizure management
- Experience and/or training in mealtime management




- Experience supporting NDIS participants with intellectual disabilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to respond appropriately to cues and gestures
- Passion for building robust relationships and rapport with participants
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Ability to complete detailed and accurate documentation

- Enjoy facilitating fun activities

- First Aid Certificate

- Drivers Licence

- Comprehensive Car Insurance

- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

- Working with Children Check
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
- Legal working rights in Australia
