Key responsibilities

- Lead and support a small, dedicated team

- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the shop

- Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with our local customers and visitors

- Maintain high standards of presentation, product quality, cleanliness and food safety

- Manage stock, ordering and merchandising

- Assist with rosters, staff training and day-to-day team coordination

- Monitor sales and identify opportunities to grow the business

- Ensure the shop operates efficiently and professionally

- Work closely with the owners to maintain the values and reputation of our family business

About you

- An experienced retail, hospitality, food, or butcher shop manager




- A confident and positive leader

- Customer-focused and genuinely enjoys interacting with people

- Organised, reliable and able to work independently

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

- Commercially minded, with an understanding of stock, sales and margins

- Committed to high standards of food safety, cleanliness and presentation

- Friendly and approachable, with the ability to build relationships with both locals and visitors

- Practical and hands-on

- Butchery or meat industry experience is essential
