Market Operations Associate | Big Four Bank | Sydney $45+ per hour + super | 9–12 Month Contract | Excellent Training & Team Culture

Are you looking to build your career in banking and financial services? This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Australia’s Big Four banks as a Market Operations Associate, supporting its Global Lending & Leasing team within the Chief Operations Office.

This is a predominantly back-office operations role, supporting institutional banking products and working closely with frontline banking teams to ensure lending activities are managed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and interpret lending agreements, accurately capturing key information in internal systems.
- Manage loan and facility maintenance activities throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Investigate and resolve client enquiries relating to fees, payments and account maintenance.
- Liaise with customers, bankers and internal stakeholders to ensure requests are resolved promptly and efficiently.
- Perform manual calculations and maintain a high level of accuracy across all operational activities.
- Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with established processes and quality standards.

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:





- Previous experience in banking operations, lending, account management or financial services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confidence working with financial documentation, operational processes and internal systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- A proactive approach, a willingness to learn and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team.
- Experience with Loan IQ or similar banking systems will be highly regarded.
