Maven Partners is working with a growing mid tier firm seeking a Private Tax Advisory Manager to join its team. This is a fully remote role for anyone based in Australia and has full working rights. You’ll be reporting into a Partner who has built several Private tax teams across Sydney and New South Wales.
This prospect would suit an established Manager or an experienced Assistant Manager ready to take the next step. You will work closely with Partners on complex private client matters, helping business owners and family groups navigate significant commercial decisions.
For someone who enjoys technical tax work and building client relationships, this role offers the opportunity to develop as a trusted adviser within an expanding practice.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing tax advice to private businesses, high net worth individuals and family groups
Advising on business and investment structures, restructures and transactions
Working across CGT, Division 7A, trusts and small business CGT concessions
Supporting succession planning and intergenerational wealth transfer
Reviewing technical work and mentoring junior team members
Working closely with Partners to support the growth of the private tax practice
About You
Experience in private client tax or business services within a professional services firm
Strong Australian tax knowledge and experience advising privately owned groups
CA/CPA qualifications, with further tax studies viewed favourably
The ability to manage engagements and communicate complex advice clearly
An interest in developing others and building lasting client relationships
A desire to take greater ownership of advisory work and your career progression
