CheerCon is one of Australia's leading cheerleading and dance event providers, and we're looking for an enthusiastic Marketing, Communications & Partnerships Coordinator to join our growing team!

This is a fantastic prospect to take ownership of exciting marketing initiatives, grow our digital presence and help strengthen our connections across the cheerleading and dance community.

About the Role

Reporting to our Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in managing CheerCon's social media, marketing campaigns, communications and business partnerships.

Social Media & Content Creation

- Manage and grow our Facebook, Instagram and other relevant social media platforms.

- Create engaging reels, videos, graphics, stories and promotional content.

- Develop and maintain a consistent social media content calendar.

- Schedule posts, monitor engagement and respond to online interactions.

- Coordinate and capture content from events, product launches and behind-the-scenes activities.

- Track social media performance and identify opportunities for growth.

- Assist with paid advertising campaigns through Meta Business Suite.

Marketing & Communications

- Develop and implement creative marketing campaigns for events, merchandise and current initiatives.

- Prepare email marketing campaigns,



newsletters and promotional communications.

- Maintain consistent branding and messaging across all platforms.

- Assist with website updates, Shopify content and digital marketing activities.

- Work collaboratively with internal departments to coordinate campaigns, deadlines and product launches.

Partnerships & Public Relations

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clubs, sponsors and industry partners.

- Identify and pursue new sponsorship and partnership opportunities.

- Coordinate sponsorship deliverables and partnership communications.

- Assist with grant applications, funding opportunities and PR initiatives.

- Develop promotional collaborations that strengthen CheerCon's brand and industry presence.

About You

We're looking for someone who is creative, proactive, highly organised and confident managing multiple priorities.

Ideally, you'll have:

- Previous experience in marketing, social media management, communications or a similar role.

- Strong content creation skills, particularly reels, short-form video and social media graphics.

- Experience using Canva, Meta Business Suite and social media scheduling tools.





- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Confidence building professional relationships and communicating with external stakeholders.

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.

- Experience with Shopify, email marketing platforms and digital advertising (highly regarded).

- A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to bring fresh ideas to the team.

Experience within the cheerleading, dance, sporting or events industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
