Polaris Engineering delivers high-quality engineering and construction solutions, specialising in heavy fabrication and surface treatment services including structural steel, plate work, pipework, and rotatable maintenance services. Our clients include major companies across the industrial, mining resources, and construction sectors. Due to a robust pipeline of projects, we are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team for ongoing site-based roles across WA.

About the Roles

We are looking for reliable, safety-focused personnel who are seeking consistent, long-term work and are willing to contribute across multiple aspects of site operations.

Mechanical Fitters

- Perform mechanical installation, maintenance, and alignment of equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Carry out inspections, fault finding, and troubleshooting.
- Work collaboratively with trades and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship.

Mandatory Requirements

- Minimum 5years site-based experience in structural and mechanical mining spaces.
- Relevant trade qualification (Mechanical Fitter).
- Current Construction White Card.
- Working at Heights (within 2 years).
- Telehandler
- High Risk Work License: WP




- National Police Clearance (within 6 months).
- Current Driver’s License.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening.
- Available for immediate or short-notice start.

Highly Regarded

- Additional tickets (Forklift, Rigging/Dogging, Confined Space, etc.).
- Previous supervisory experience and S26 (for Supervisor roles).
