About the role

This is a varied, hands-on position combining onsite installations, field service work and remote technical support.

Key responsibilities

- Installing, configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, wireless networks and associated equipment.

- Installing and supporting business phone systems, including IP handsets and cloud-based solutions.

- Diagnosing and resolving internet, network, Wi-Fi and phone system faults.

- Attending customer premises for installations, service calls and equipment upgrades.

- Providing remote technical support and troubleshooting.

- Assisting with business internet and NBN service provisioning and fault resolution.

- Providing customer training and clear, qualified technical advice.

- Maintaining accurate customer records and documenting technical work.

About you

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- A genuine interest in IT, networking and telecommunications.

- Positive computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems quickly.

- A practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Reliability, initiative and the ability to manage priorities.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.





- A current Australian driver's licence.

- Experience or qualifications in IT, networking, telecommunications or a related technical field (highly regarded but not essential).

- Practical knowledge of computer networks, routers, switches and wireless equipment (highly regarded but not essential).
