Oddies rescues perfectly valuable fruit and veg that’s too odd for supermarket shelves and delivers it fresh to Sydney homes*.* We're a small, ambitious team led by our two founders, and we're looking for a content creator with personality, ideas and a good eye to tell our story.

Video is at the heart of this role. You’ll dream up the ideas, write the scripts, step in front of the lens and capture every moment, whether you’re the star or you’re shooting our founders telling the Oddies story. Our editing team handles the cut, so your energy goes into creating, not cutting. You’ll also put together the occasional static and carousel post to round out the feed.

What you'll be doing

• Running Oddies' social channels across TikTok, Instagram and other.

- Working closely with our two founders on ideas, launches and where the brand goes next
- Coming up with content ideas and writing scripts with hooks that stop the scroll
- Appearing on camera: talking to camera, running skits, showing off produce and fronting launches
- Shooting in Sydney and, from time to time, on farms and with farmers around NSW
- Handing well-shot, well-organised footage to our editing team
- Engaging with our community in the comments and DMs, and through collabs
- Reviewing every finished piece of content: digging into views, watch time, saves, shares and comments to work out what landed, what didn't and why
- Turning those insights into sharper ideas, scripts and shoots, so every round of content beats the last

This isn't a role that sits in a content bubble. You'll work alongside the teams that make Oddies tick, so your content is grounded in what our customers actually think and feel.
- Customer Service. Sit in remotely with our CS team to hear real customer feedback, questions and stories. The way our customers talk becomes the way our content talks.
- Core teams across the business. Spend time with operations, sourcing, marketing and others to understand how Oddies works, from farm to doorstep, and find the stories worth telling.
- The founders. Bring what you learn back to the founders and help shape where the brand goes next.

Who we're looking for

• 2–3 years creating social content for a brand, an agency or your own growing account
- Natural, warm and confident on camera
- Skilled behind the camera: framing, lighting and getting the shot (phone or mirrorless)
- A basic understanding of sound, like mics, clean audio and handling wind and noise on location
- An idea machine who knows short-form inside out, from hooks and pacing to trends and sounds
- Self-driven and happy to run with things without waiting for a brief
- Curious about the numbers:



comfortable reading TikTok and Instagram analytics and using them to make better content
- A positive listener who gets energy from understanding customers and turning their voice into content
- Bonus points if you love food and fresh produce, or hold a driver's licence for regional shoots
