Working three days per week, you will work closely with our Media & Marketing Manager to plan and deliver content across the firm. This role will suit a strong writer and natural storyteller who enjoys getting beneath a topic, interviewing subject matter experts and turning complex information into clear, engaging and useful content. You'll work across a broad range of legal topics and audiences, developing everything from in-depth articles and thought leadership to newsletters, website content, campaigns and award submissions.

Key responsibilities

- Researching and writing high-quality articles, legal insights, thought leadership, case studies, campaign content and website resources
- Interviewing lawyers and subject matter experts and translating complex legal information into accessible, engaging content
- Identifying timely content opportunities around legal developments, emerging issues, cases and topics affecting our clients and communities
- Developing content that supports brand awareness, lawyer profile building, organic search visibility, audience education and lead generation
- Helping build the profiles of our lawyers through thoughtful, authoritative content
- Writing and optimising website content with SEO and evolving AI-driven search behaviour in mind
- Planning, writing and coordinating the firm's email and LinkedIn newsletters
- Repurposing long-form content for campaigns, email and social channels in collaboration with our Social Media & Digital Content Strategist
- Writing and editing landing pages, brochures, marketing collateral and campaign material
- Maintaining a consistent brand voice and ensuring content meets relevant professional and legal marketing requirements

About you

- Strong professional writing, editing and interviewing skills
- Experience in content marketing, communications, journalism, or a similar environment




- The ability to take technical or complex subject matter and make it engaging and easy to understand
- Strong editorial judgement and an instinct for identifying compelling angles
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple pieces of content at different stages
- An understanding of SEO and how search behaviour is changing through AI and answer-based search
- Confidence working directly with senior professionals and subject matter experts
- A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute ideas

This is a 12-month maternity leave contract with the possibility of extension depending on business requirements. This role is primarily based at our Robina Town Centre office, with flexibility to also work from our other office locations, or work from home if necessary.
