Technical leadership opportunity for experienced Workers Compensation professionals. Your new company Hays is partnering with a reputable insurance organisation seeking a Technical Advisor to join a high-performing Workers Compensation team. This is an opportunity to move beyond portfolio management and play a key role in developing capability, improving claim outcomes, and influencing technical excellence across a large claims operation. The role would suit an experienced Senior Claims Advisor, Technical Specialist, Legal Professional, Injury Management professional, or Workers Compensation SME looking to leverage their expertise in a broader leadership capacity. Your new role As a Technical Advisor, you will act as a subject matter expert across the Workers Compensation business, providing technical leadership, coaching and strategic guidance to claims professionals and leaders. This is a full-time permanent position in Perth CBD. Key responsibilities include: Providing expert guidance on legislation, policy and claims strategy Supporting complex and litigated Workers Compensation matters Delivering technical coaching,



mentoring and capability development Facilitating onboarding and ongoing training programs Partnering with leaders to improve claim outcomes and technical consistency Working closely with external legal providers and stakeholders Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the claims function Acting as a trusted adviser on complex claim and legislative matters This role is less focused on managing a personal portfolio and more focused on uplifting capability across the broader team.
