About the Opportunity

We are urgently seeking a qualified and motivated Podiatrist to join our busy, well-established medical centre in Coburg, Victoria.

Our medical centre is home to a large team of experienced General Practitioners and has an extensive, established patient base. We offer an excellent opportunity for a Podiatrist to establish and grow a successful practice with consistent internal GP referrals and a steady flow of patients.

Our centre caters to a diverse patient population, including bulk-billed and private patients, WorkCover and TAC patients, and patients with Australian private health insurance and overseas health insurance.

This provides an excellent opportunity to develop a varied and rewarding podiatry caseload within a supportive multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive podiatry assessments, diagnoses and treatments.
- Provide routine podiatry services, including nail care, skin care and general foot health.
- Conduct diabetic foot assessments and preventative care.
- Assess and manage musculoskeletal and biomechanical foot conditions.




- Provide podiatry treatment and rehabilitation for eligible WorkCover and TAC patients.
- Develop individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans.
- Work closely with our GPs to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Provide clinical documentation and progress reports where required.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
- Build positive, long-term relationships with patients.

Essential Requirements
- Bachelor of Podiatry or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Podiatrist.
- Appropriate professional indemnity insurance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care.
- Experience managing WorkCover, TAC and Medicare-funded patients is highly regarded but not essential.
