About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Poly Welders to join ongoing projects at Rio Tinto mine sites across Western Australia. This chance is ideal for motivated individuals with a solid background in polyethylene pipe welding who can consistently deliver quality work while following site safety procedures and industry standards.

Applicants must have at least 2 years of practical experience in poly welding, along with a thorough understanding of welding procedures, quality control and compliance requirements.

Previous experience in civil construction and additional machinery operating qualifications will be highly regarded.

Essential Requirements





To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

- Recognised Poly Welding Qualifications in Butt Fusion and Electrofusion
- Minimum 2 years of relevant poly welding experience
- Current and valid Driver's Licensee
- Working at Heights Certification
- Confined Space Entry Certification
- Valid Construction Induction Card (White Card or Blue Card)
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team

Desirable Skills

- Previous experience in civil construction or mining environments
- HR Driver's License
- Excavator or other relevant machinery operating tickets
- Experience working on large-scale mining projects
