Our client is seeking an experienced Materials & Logistics Analyst to join their team based at Adelaide Airport . This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic aviation environment, supporting critical supply chain and logistics operations that keep aircraft safely operating and on schedule.
About The Role The Materials & Logistics Analyst is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational demand, supply planning, inventory optimisation, and procurement of aircraft parts, rotables, consumables, and tooling supporting the fleet.
The role plays a key part in ensuring the timely and cost-effective supply of components while meeting Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) requirements, ongoing airworthiness obligations, and operational availability targets.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Developing demand forecasts and supply plans to support maintenance schedules and operational requirements.
- Managing inventory levels and optimising stock holdings across the network.
- Supporting Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery activities and regulatory Airworthiness Directives (ADs).
- Liaising with internal stakeholders including Maintenance Watch, Maintenance Bases, Engineering Fleet Management, and CAMO teams.
- Managing supplier relationships and procurement activities to ensure optimal service, quality, and cost outcomes.
- Monitoring supplier performance, mitigating supply chain risks, and implementing pricing agreements.
- Contributing to inventory and logistics strategies supporting a fleet inventory valued along with annual logistics and maintenance expenditure.
About You To be successful in this role,
you will ideally have:
- Experience in supply chain, inventory management, logistics, procurement, or materials planning.
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational workplace.
- Experience within aviation, engineering, maintenance, or a highly regulated industry will be highly regarded.
