/n The opportunity /n Downer Energy and Utilities is seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to support a major transmission lines project within our Power Projects business. /n This is a senior leadership opportunity responsible for leading a team of planning, project controls and cost controls professionals and ensuring accurate, timely and transparent project performance information. /n You will oversee the planning and project controls capability across the project, providing leadership, governance and assurance while partnering closely with project delivery, construction, commercial, procurement and other key functions. /n Please note we are accepting applications from Brisbane and Sydney based candidates. /n What we’re looking for /n You are an experienced project controls leader with a strong background in major construction or infrastructure projects and the ability to influence across complex project environments. /n • 15 or more years of experience leading project controls professionals /n • 10 or more years of site construction experience across power transmission, substations, networks, water or plant shutdown projects /n • Significant project controls experience across both small and large projects /n • Strong Primavera P6 capability /n • Experience with enterprise project controls or construction management systems, with InEight experience highly regarded /n • Strong knowledge of earned value management, including AS 4817 Earned Value Management in Project and Programme Management /n • Advanced Microsoft Excel capability /n • Experience with Extension of Time claims,



delay analysis and schedule reviews /n • Strong understanding of contractual and financial requirements within major projects /n • Knowledge of contract models including GC21 and NEC4 /n A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Project Management is preferred.
