Join our Renewables team based out of Gippsland

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Renewables division, based in Gippsland, Victoria, taking responsibility for the safe, commercial and timely delivery of renewable energy infrastructure projects.

About the role

Reporting to the Project Director – Renewables, you will take ownership of project delivery from planning through execution and close-out, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on program, within budget and in accordance with Delta’s management systems and contractual obligations.

Working closely with the Operations Manager, Project Director, Divisional Manager, project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients, you will provide strong leadership across project controls, commercial management, construction delivery, quality and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and manage project programs, short-term planning and 3-week lookaheads, with regular progress reporting
- Maintain project cost control,



including weekly cost tracking and monthly forecast-to-complete reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve construction methodology, productivity and commercial outcomes
- Manage contract requirements, variations, claims, invoicing and project correspondence
- Identify and proactively manage commercial, contractual, program and delivery risks
- Procure and manage subcontractors and suppliers to achieve competitive market coverage and reliable project delivery
- Support estimating and tender activities, including cost planning, site inspections and tender interviews
- Review subcontractor tenders and manage subcontractor and supplier commitments and invoices
- Maintain project QA requirements, including ITPs, hold points, site records, production data and photographic records
- Ensure project QSE documentation, management plans, SWMS, permits and site controls are effectively implemented
- Prepare monthly project reports, including financial performance and risk and opportunity registers
- Build solid, professional relationships with clients and key project stakeholders
- Lead project close-out and lessons learnt to support continuous improvement across the Renewables division
- Demonstrate visible safety leadership through pre-starts, site engagement and Delta’s Visible Leadership Program

About you You will be a practical, commercially aware Project Manager who can take ownership of project outcomes and operate effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
