Are you an experienced plumber with a strong background in stormwater and sewer drain repairs and renewals?

We’re developing a specialist focus in drainage and are looking for a qualified plumber with the practical knowledge and hands-on experience to help us build this area of our business. This role suits someone who can assess drainage problems, recommend effective solutions and complete repairs to a high standard.

Experience in pipe relining would be a robust advantage, but it is not essential if you have extensive experience in drain repairs and renewals.

What you’ll be doing

- Investigating and diagnosing faults in stormwater and sewer drainage systems using CCTV drain cameras and locating equipment.
- Clearing blocked drains and carrying out drain inspections.
- Carrying out drain repairs, replacements and renewals.
- Operating an excavator for drainage excavation and renewal works.
- Using a demolition saw safely as required for drainage access and repairs.
- Planning and completing drainage work efficiently, safely and to a high standard.
- Communicating clearly with customers and the team about problems and proposed solutions.
- Bringing your knowledge and experience to help develop our specialist drainage services.

What we’re looking for





- A qualified plumber with extensive hands-on experience in stormwater and sewer drainage.
- Strong knowledge of drain repair and renewal methods.
- Must be able to operate an excavator competently and safely.
- Experience using CCTV drain inspection cameras is essential.
- Proven drain clearing experience is essential.
- Must be competent using a locator to locate drains and faults.
- Must be able to use a demolition saw competently and safely.
- The ability to assess jobs, solve problems and work independently.
- A reliable, qualified approach and pride in the quality of your work.
- Pipe relining knowledge and experience will be highly regarded.
- Verifiable references from current and previous employers who can speak to your experience, workmanship and reliability.
