We're looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Recruitment Consultant to join our Accounting & Finance team at Charterhouse.

Whether your background is in permanent or temporary recruitment, we're open to both. What matters most is your drive, ability to build relationships and motivation to grow a successful desk.

Our Accounting & Finance team operates across the commercial market, and unlike many recruitment businesses, our desks aren't saturated or restricted by seniority levels. This means genuine opportunity to build relationships and recruit across a broad range of positions, from newly qualified finance through to senior finance leadership. There's plenty of market to go after, and we're looking for someone who sees that as an opportunity rather than a challenge.

The role

This is a true 360 recruitment position, with a solid emphasis on business development and building long-term client relationships.

You'll be responsible for

- Developing new client relationships and identifying opportunities across the commercial Accounting & Finance market.
- Building and managing your own portfolio of clients.
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from business development and client briefing through to sourcing, interviewing and placement.
- Developing strong candidate networks and becoming a trusted specialist in your market.
- Taking ownership of your desk and driving its growth.
- Responsible for revenue target and budget.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Previous recruitment experience, ideally within Accounting & Finance, although other specialisms will be considered.
- A genuine interest in business development and relationship building.
- A proactive, resilient and commercially driven approach.
- The motivation to take ownership of your market and build something successful.
