Workfast is seeking an experienced Rigger with a C6 Crane ticket to join a marine operations project based in Coffs Harbour, NSW.

This is a multi-skilled role requiring versatility across marine operations, lifting activities, and plant operations. Due to the nature of the project, working hours will be tide-dependent, with varying start and finish times.

Key Requirements

- Current C6 Crane Operator licence (slewing mobile crane up to 60 tonnes)

- Valid Rigger (Dogman / Intermediate or Advanced) licence

- Telehandler ticket

- Minimum 2 years' experience in the smiler type of role

- Experience in civil or marine construction environments

- Ability to work in varying weather and tidal conditions

- Proven experience operating telehandlers

- Strong understanding of site safety, lifting plans, and compliance

General Requirements:

- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work effectively within a team and meet project schedules

- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks

- Full working rights in Australia





Desirable Tickets & Experience

- Experience working in port or marine environments

- Additional High Risk Work Licences

- White Card (Construction Induction)

- First Aid Certification

Key Responsibilities

- Operate C6 crane

- Operating and working on the rigger tasks

- Support lifting and site operations as required

- Work collaboratively with site teams and supervisors

- Report daily activities and updates to the supervisor

- Assist with general site duties where required

- Perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks

- Complete ad hoc duties as directed by the site supervisor
