Who we are

Our mission is to develop services to enhance quality of life and meet individual outcomes.

Specialising in 24-hour disability programs for individuals with multiple and complex needs, we're proud to be a trusted and registered service provider with the NDIA.

One Doorway works closely with its participants, families and other associated parties. We strive to provide an exceptional service to all.

Our culture

We are committed to developing a culture that lives by the One Doorway values: inclusiveness, respect, diversity and equality.

At One Doorway, we hire based on our program's needs, not just hire from a pool of workers. This means you work on the same program with the same team, which creates stability for our participants and support team. We are truly a person-centred organisation. Our participants are at the centre of all the work we do.

Our perks

As a One Doorway employee, benefits you'll be able to take advantage of including:

- Access to Employee Assistance Program
- Monthly recognition and reward for 'Employee of the Month' and Quarterly team awards
- Be part of a values-driven team that’s inclusive, transparent and collaborative.
- Ongoing training and development for each program’s needs and requirements.

Your role

As a Rostering Officer with One Doorway, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining rostering and scheduling processes that meet the needs of our participants.

How you will make an impact

- Ensure continuity of support for participants by effective scheduling and rostering to align Support Worker rosters efficiently to meet the participant needs
- Manage the workforce requirements, including roster changes, leave and absence planning, ensuring effective coverage of all shifts to participant, program and organisational needs and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with systems and processes to follow the guidelines of the relevant awards e.g. SCHADS
- Demonstrated ability to plan, co-ordinate and organise own work and support team members
- Commitment to a person-centred approach
- Plan, prioritise, meet deadlines and juggle competing demands, working in a fast paced and flexible environment

What we are looking for

- Knowledge and experience in providing support within a Rostering, Employment Services, or Administration role
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised
- Demonstrated capability to take initiative to drive and implement change
- High-level organisational skills, with the ability to set priorities and meet multiple deadlines
- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced setting
- Patient, flexible, understanding, supportive and caring nature

Desirable, however not essential

- Experience working within the disability or health care sector
