Sales Excellence Manager – Healthcare

THE COMPANY Our client is a well-established, global business in the healthcare sector with a strong national presence across Australia. They are known for the quality of their people, service and long-term customer relationships. Their national internal sales team is a key growth engine, so they have created a new role to take its performance to the next level.

THE ROLE

- Based in Sydney, you will be responsible for the national internal sales function, which sells to B2B customers by phone, video and digital channels.
- You will establish and embed the internal sales operating model: frameworks, playbooks, coaching methodology, KPIs and performance standards.
- This is NOT a traditional sales management role. The initial focus is building the model, so you’ll lead through influence, with no direct reports.
- You will coach the internal sales team and work closely with sales leadership to drive behavioral change, conversion and consistent adoption nationally.
- As the function matures,



the role may expand to include direct leadership of the internal sales team.

THE CANDIDATE

- THE MOST IMPORTANT THING: experience building and embedding an internal sales, inside sales or outbound framework, not just running one.
- You may come from a background in B2B inside sales leadership, sales excellence, sales enablement, inside sales or sales transformation. Healthcare experience is a bonus, but not a requirement.
- A solid coach and influencer with a track record of lifting sales performance through structure, process and discipline.
- The focus will be on your ability to influence without authority, use data to improve outcomes, and balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
