/n Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial records as well as supporting decision-making through sound financial analysis. This role requires a deep understanding of financial accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments. /n /n What you’ll do /n /n

- Own key month-end processes, including income recognition, journals, treasury and trust accounting, payments, write-offs and refunds.

/n

- Manage bank, cash flow, general ledger, trust and intercompany reconciliations.

/n

- Ensure investor repayments are processed accurately and on time.

/n

- Analyse financial performance, identify trends and recommend opportunities to improve costs and revenue.

/n

- Partner with operational teams, including AltX Operations, to support investment accounting and business decisions.

/n

- Strengthen financial controls and improve processes to make finance operations more efficient and accurate.





/n /n What you’ll bring /n /n

- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with CA/CPA or equivalent certification.

/n

- Proven accounting experience, including experience in banking or non-bank lending.

/n

- Strong technical accounting knowledge, analytical skills and attention to detail.

/n

- Proficiency in accounting systems such as MYOB Advanced and Microsoft Office.

/n

- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.

/n

- Explicit communication, a collaborative approach and sound judgement when handling confidential information.
