Ezy Group is a growing company seeking a motivated Accountant to join our team. The Ezy Group comprises of Ezy Vehicle Rentals, Ezy Mechanical, Ezy Mechanical Towing, Ezy Sign Solutions and Ezy Express Freight, with branches in Mackay, Moranbah and Emerald.

THE ROLE

Reporting to Company Accountant (CFO),GM, you will be responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and assisting in month end closing, End of Financial reporting and Bank Reports.

Office duties include: answering phones when required, managing office supply stocks, over seeing admin team, as well as other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO

- BMA Vendor/CRES processing
- Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Debt Collection
- Bank Reconciliation
- Assist in the completion of month-end processes
- Assistance with preparation of regulatory reporting obligations including BAS & PAYG
- Liaising with bank and insurance with vehicle purchase/sales
- General office duties
- Other Ad-hoc duties

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

- Must be qualified Accountant




- Experience with preparation of BAS and PAYG obligations
- Intermediate to Advanced level Excel skills
- Experience with accounting packages such as Xero
- At least one year creditor and debtor accounts experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability of working effectively both autonomously and within a team
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy, time management and organisational skills
- Analytical skills to interpret and comprehend financial and non-financial data
- Ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Maintain a culture of performance, professionalism and continuous improvement
