What you'll be doing?

- Managing complex family law files: Taking carriage of some of the most interesting and legally complex family law matters in Perth, with the backing of a supportive and experienced team.
- Navigating dispute resolution: Applying knowledge of alternative dispute resolution models to help guide clients toward fair and efficient outcomes.
- Engaging directly with clients: Building confident, clear, and empathetic communication with clients throughout what can be a sensitive and challenging process.
- Managing your own workload: Planning and prioritising matters efficiently, meeting deadlines, and staying on top of key compliance dates.
- Contributing to business growth: Playing an active role in identifying new business development opportunities and building a strong professional reputation in the Perth legal market.
- Growing professionally:



Continuing legal education and building meaningful networks across the Perth legal and business community, supported every step of the way.

Who are they looking for?

- Experienced family lawyer: Around 4-5+ years' experience at Associate or Senior Associate level, ideally with a track record of handling complex family law matters.
- Admission to practice in WA: Current admission rights (or eligibility for admission) to practice law in Western Australia. Candidates on graduate visas with an Australian law degree may also be eligible, as permanent residency is not required for WA admission.
- Family Court experience: Practical experience appearing in or preparing matters for the Family Court.
- Dispute resolution knowledge: Familiarity with the range of alternative dispute resolution models used in family law matters.
- Confident communicator: Comfortable engaging with clients directly and building trust during difficult or emotional situations.
- Strong organisational skills: A proactive approach to managing a personal caseload, deadlines, and compliance requirements.
- Commercial understanding: A solid grasp of corporate structures, useful in navigating the financial complexities of family law matters.
