We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure AD B2C Engineer to support a major Federal Government technology transformation program focused on enhancing identity and access management capabilities. The Azure B2C Engineer will provide specialist expertise in Azure AD B2C, Custom Policy development and Identity and Access Management (IAM) , supporting the design, development and continuous improvement of secure identity solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain Azure AD B2C Custom Policies, Trust Frameworks and user journeys.
- Develop detailed technical designs, specifications and System Architecture Documents (SADs).
- Implement and optimise claims transformations, Relying Party policies, custom technical profiles and REST integrations.
- Identify and resolve authentication, authorisation, federation and identity-related issues.
- Support B2C uplift activities, including technical debt remediation, policy consolidation and security enhancements.
- Translate architectural requirements into detailed technical solutions and implementation guidance.
- Collaborate with solution architects, developers and stakeholders to deliver secure and scalable identity solutions.




- Support multidisciplinary Agile delivery teams throughout development, testing and implementation.

Mandatory Requirements

- Extensive hands-on experience with Azure AD B2C Custom Policies and Trust Framework development.
- Strong experience with user journeys, claims transformations, custom technical profiles and Relying Party policies.
- Expertise in OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT tokens and identity federation.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and optimising Azure AD B2C environments.
- Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), authentication, authorisation and security controls.
- Experience with Git version control and branching strategies.
- Excellent technical documentation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Australian Citizenship and an active AGSVA NV1 security clearance.

Highly Desirable

- Relevant IT qualifications or Microsoft cloud certifications.
- Knowledge of ITIL and TOGAF frameworks.
- Experience working within Australian Government ICT environments.
- Understanding of Commonwealth ICT governance and security frameworks.
