You're a great technician. But what's next?

You've spent years developing your mechanical skills. You're confident diagnosing and repairing vehicles, take pride in your work, and perhaps you've started wondering where your career goes from here.

Ever thought about running a workshop?

At Carlton Automotive, we're looking for an experienced senior technician who wants to take the next step towards workshop leadership.

We're the newest of three modern, well-equipped independent workshops within the Leondis Automotive Group, and we're looking for the right person to develop into our next Workshop Manager.

You bring the mechanical expertise. We'll help you develop the rest.

The Chance

You'll start as a hands-on senior technician while progressively learning the skills needed to run a workshop, including:

- Workshop operations and workflow management
- Customer communication and service advising
- Business performance and team leadership

You'll receive mentoring, training and support from our wider group as you develop. This is a hands-on leadership pathway, so you'll continue to be involved in the technical side of the workshop.

Who We're Looking For

- An experienced, trade-qualified automotive technician
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Pride in workmanship and a proactive attitude

- Valuable communication skills and a willingness to support others
- An interest in developing into a leadership role

No previous management experience required. We're looking for technical ability and leadership potential, not an existing Workshop Manager.

What We Offer

- Up-to-date workshop with quality equipment and technology
- Ongoing technical and leadership development
- Support from an established three-workshop automotive group

- Genuine career progression into workshop management
- Competitive remuneration based on experience

Interested? If you're a great technician who's ready to explore the next step in your career, we'd welcome a confidential conversation.
